Trainers and riders who compete in the top levels of both the English and Western horse show circuits are deeply invested in their horses’ health and ability to perform. Professional equestrians know that the first and most important aspect to horsemanship and showmanship is a trusted, high-quality feed and nutrition plan—one that takes into account the stress and demands faced by the equine athlete.

PATTY STOVAL Professional Hunter/Jumper and Grand Prix rider and trainer Patty Stoval made her mark early in her career. Notably, she finished second in the 1975 Medal Finals on a four-year-old horse that she herself started and trained. She rode several hunter mounts to “Horse of the Year” titles while riding for Otis Brown and Brass Lantern Farms, before she began riding in the Grand Prix circuit in 1985. In 1986, Patty finished second in the “AGA Rookie of the Year” standings. She has more than twenty Grand Prix victories to her credit, and has won International Hunter Futurity Finals (a competition for three-year-old horses) a remarkable eight times. In 1994, Patty was the leading American rider in the World Championships in Hague, Holland. In 1999 and 2000, Patty trained Frascati to win “AHSA Horse of the Year” in both the Amateur and Working Hunter divisions. She has also trained many students to win Championships in both Hunter and Jumper divisions at such prestige shows as Devon, Washington International and Madison Square Garden.
